Capstone Research Topic: Nostalgia and Its Place in Video Games
Based on the past course research question: Why is nostalgia important and how is it reflected in video game worlds?

The game will follow the main character, Ashlen, as he ventures into a clearing to find a crumbling structure, hidden from view. He ventures into the building and finds it in ruins. He reminisces on the once proud structure he used to call home centuries ago.
He makes his way to the top of the tower, enters a room with markings on the floor which glow alongside the markings on his body, casting a ritual. The once crumbling building is now put-together.
He retraces his steps back down with deep appreciation of the castle grounds he remembers from an old life.
